A 30-kw, 60-cycle, diesel engine driven generator, capable of supplying 25-kw, 50 cycle power, mounted on an M-200A1 trailer (modified), comprise a self-contained mobile unit referred to as Trailer-Mounted Generator Set, PU-406/M.

PU-406/M is a mobile power plant and may be used to supply power to any system requiring a 30-kw.
